Samuel earned a degree in music education from Luther College, where he performed with both the Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. He remains an active performer across the Twin Cities and nationally — playing electric violin in a rock band and fiddle in an Irish band. That dual life in classical conservatory and live-band stages gives him a rare ability to meet students wherever their musical interests lie.

Samuel builds a unique curriculum for every student based on their skill level, goals, and musical interests. Whether you're working toward classical repertoire or exploring folk, rock, or entirely your own direction, lessons are shaped around what excites you. He emphasizes strong foundational technique and music theory from the start — the building blocks that unlock every style.
